ReBid adds ChatGPT Ads

ReBid adds ChatGPT Ads activation and analytics to its agentic AI marketing platform

ReBid has expanded its marketing technology platform to include ChatGPT Ads activation and analytics, giving brands a way to manage advertising on the AI platform alongside Google, Meta, LinkedIn, X, Snapchat and DV360.

Mumbai-based marketing technology company ReBid has added ChatGPT Ads activation, campaign management, analytics and insights to its agentic AI-powered marketing platform as advertisers begin to explore AI-led environments as another part of the media mix.

The development comes as OpenAI rapidly expands ChatGPT’s advertising business. OpenAI said on August 31 that ChatGPT Ads had crossed a $1 billion annualised revenue run rate, with advertising available in more than 40 countries and self-service access expanding to India, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

For ReBid, the move puts ChatGPT alongside the conventional digital advertising channels already available on its platform, including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, X, Snapchat and DV360.

Bringing ChatGPT into the wider media mix

ReBid said the new capability is designed to allow marketers to activate campaigns on ChatGPT, monitor performance and bring advertising data into the same environment as their other media activity.

The company’s proposition is built around “Platform + People + Agentic AI”, with its AI layer connecting campaign data, performance signals and cross-channel intelligence.

That means marketers can compare the performance of ChatGPT advertising with other digital channels rather than treating AI advertising as a separate experiment.

The company said its platform can help identify performance trends and optimisation opportunities, while bringing campaign activation, measurement and decision-making into one workflow.

The move comes at a time when advertising on ChatGPT itself is evolving quickly. OpenAI has been adding audience management, conversion measurement, reporting and optimisation tools as it expands the advertising product internationally.

ReBid’s pitch: Plan, Activate, Analyse, Optimise

At the centre of ReBid’s proposition is a continuous Plan → Activate → Analyse → Optimise cycle.

The company believes that the shift towards AI-led discovery will require marketers to look beyond traditional search and social platforms and to understand how consumers interact with brands in conversational interfaces.

“AI is fundamentally changing how consumers discover information, evaluate brands and make decisions,” said Rajiv Dingra, Founder and CEO, ReBid.

Dingra said advertising within AI-powered environments could become an important part of the marketing mix and that integrating ChatGPT Ads into ReBid would allow brands to explore the channel while retaining the transparency, measurement and optimisation expected from established digital advertising platforms.

The company said its platform can also combine ChatGPT advertising data with wider media and customer data, giving marketers a more consolidated view of campaign performance.

Why ChatGPT is becoming a new advertising battleground

The timing is significant for the advertising industry. ChatGPT is increasingly becoming a place where consumers research products, compare options and make decisions, potentially putting AI platforms alongside search and social networks in the media planning conversation.

OpenAI says it displays its ads separately from ChatGPT’s answers and that they do not influence the responses generated by the model. Advertisers also do not receive users’ private conversations or chat histories.

OpenAI has also introduced conversion measurement tools that allow advertisers to track actions such as purchases, registrations and leads following ad interactions.

For agencies and marketing technology companies, this creates a new layer of demand: not just buying advertising inventory, but connecting AI-platform activity with the rest of a brand’s marketing data.

That is the space ReBid is targeting with its latest addition.

From digital channels to AI-led discovery

Dingra said the next phase of digital marketing would extend beyond search engines, social networks and traditional media as AI becomes another interface between consumers and brands.

For ReBid, the ChatGPT integration is therefore positioned as part of a larger push towards an AI-native marketing ecosystem, bringing together media activation, analytics, automation and human expertise.

The company works with brands including PNB Housing, Apollo Pharmacy, Axis Bank, Xiaomi, Forever New, Vero Moda, Jack & Jones and Axis Securities, according to its announcement.

The addition of ChatGPT Ads gives those marketers another potential channel to test — and, more importantly, a way to evaluate AI-led advertising alongside the platforms that already dominate their media plans.
